VILLAGE PUB & EATERY

Built originally as a coaching Inn the Jolly Farmers has been welcoming guests since the early 1800's, these days we offer good food and drink in traditional surroundings with a warm and convivial atmosphere. The pub is divided into 3 small rooms all featuring mellow woods, pine tables and leather chairs, pamment tiled or wooden floors and large open hearths or woodburners.

For those warm summer days there is a pretty terrace area in which to enjoy the food and drink.

We like to think of the Jolly farmers as a village pub and eatery, still believing in the traditional values of a 'local' but also offering an exciting dinning experience with menus and specials boards offering an impressive choice of dishes that cater for most tastes and appetites. Local suppliers provide all the meat, game and fresh fish that is used in creating both contemporary and traditional dishes. Crab and lobster menus in the summer, mussel menus in the winter all purchased direct from the local fisherman.

The drinks are also taken seriously, two or three real ales served straight from the cask (CAMRA Good Beer Guide), a carefully selected wine list and some very fine ports and malt whiskies are also being offered.
